• Contemporary Keyboarding - private or online lessons in English taught by Philip Laessoe @ Studio P or M

• RCM | Piano & Music Theory - private or online lessons in English taught by Philip Laessoe @ Studio P or M

• Guitar, Bass & Drums - private or online lessons in English or Chinese taught by Ming Lian @ Studio M (via May's Music School)

• Voice / Singing - private lessons in English or Chinese taught by Mei Yuan @ Studio M (via May's Music School)

 

MUSIC PRODUCTION:

• Electronic Music Production - private and group lessons by Philip Laessoe @ Studio M

  • Topics like sequencing using various DAWs, sampling, synthesis, producing beats, building instrument and groove patterns

• Studio & Sound Techniques - private and group lessons by Philip Laessoe @ Studio M

  • ​Topics include vocal & instrument recording, audio editing & tuning, mixing & mastering, digital/analog audio theory, sound acoustics theory​

​​The classes are taught on a weekly basis, or for a specific project / period of time, and are mainly hosted online (using Zoom/Meet), at Studio P in Vancouver or at Studio M (via May's Music School) in Richmond, BC.​​ We welcome students of all ages, levels and backgrounds; the only prerequisite for learning is the availability of the particular instrument. A MIDI controller/keyboard, audio interface and laptop and specific software is required for some of the Music Production lessons.

Trial lessons are available so you can try out a specific lesson program. In addition, we host an annual recital hosted in person and streamed online for our performance oriented students.
